Between the pain from the glaucoma and the pain from the arthritis, I’m a crippled mess. The glaucoma makes everything look hazy and it’s not uncommon for me to have arthritic pain so bad it makes walking difficult. So, why should I feel guilty for missing class?
Because I’m currently headed for a depressive episode. I’m familiar enough with my illness to know the signs.
I have a perfectly good reason to miss class too. So, I shouldn’t feel guilty, right? That’s the logical thing. Problem is mental illness never works with logic.
My health is basically just shit right now and I need a hug.
